3:33⅓ - Black Market Brass Band - Chop Bop

I am overwhelmed at work. Tis the season. Events, concerts, releases. And in your inbox is not only the regular collection of work emails, reply alls, questions, confusions et cetera. There is also a steady stream of promoters, artists and others earnestly trying to put their best art/event/guest forward in hopes of getting coverage. Many of these entities are deserving of coverage, deserve to get a look. But my email is way available, there is no barrier of entry to send me something. And there shouldn’t be! I’ve found some folks who had a really small profile and got to share their sounds and their message with a much larger audience. THAT’S A HELLUVA RESPONSIBILITY. It’s also just a lot of emails. A lot of this release, that release, book guests, do you know the top five most popular card games in Minnesota type emails. Sometimes it’s just too much. I have nothing to say about Black Market Brass, I love them, I just wanted to pop off about all of that. Rant done. I like BMB and I spun them today on Jazz88.
