3:33⅓ - Black Market Brass - Into the Thick

Black Market Brass is one of the most face melting bands in the Twin Cities. I saw em randomly once at the Nomad and wow, I was just blown away. And ever since I’ve been impressed with them. I met their bassist Charlie Bruber cause he plays guitar for Pavielle as well and as of late PaviElle is like my new best friend cause I see her every week and I have no friends cause I have children. JUST KIDDING that was too much. But I’m on a Pavielle renaissance and hanging with Charlie a couple weeks back was awesome. And I just felt like playing something with some guts to it. Mission accomplished. I still remember discovering this song in particular while taking a walk in the pandemic and listening to Purple Current and thinking the group had stepped up a level. What a treat. Bravo to the great musicians of Minnesota.
