I started hosting music trivia on the Current in 2009 and through years of hanging around I parlayed that into a full-time gig hosting at the Current. You can catch me hosting the request show Radio Free Current on Saturday nights from 7p-10p. I co-host the Current’s hip-hop and r&b show, The Message, with Sanni Brown on Wednesday nights at 10p. I am the project manager and a host for Purple Current. This is a stream dedicated to celebrating the musical universe of Prince. Do we play only Prince? Nope. Do we play a ton of Prince? Yes. Catch me hosting on Tuesdays from 10a-4p.

Trivia Mafia

I am the assistant owner of Trivia Mafia LLC. What is Trivia Mafia? We are the largest bar trivia company in Minnesota and the best one in the world. What does an assistant owner do? Heiruspecs

1997-present

While a junior at Central High School I formed a band called Heiruspecs with Chris ‘Felix’ Wilbourn. Against all odds and most advice we are still a band. We’re a live hip-hop band. I play the bass. We play a handful of shows a year, release a record every half decade and have raised over $20,000 for recipients of the Heiruspecs Scholarship at Central High School. Unexplainably we have one song called “Heartsprings” that has well over a million spins on Spotify. We make about $145 a year from that song.
