3:33⅓ - Charles Lloyd - Forest Flower

I remember exactly when I heard this song for the first time. Peter Leggett, the drummer for Heiruspecs, either brought it on tour or bought it while we were on tour and said this was a big important song to listen to. It opened my mind up to how intense jazz can be in a way I hadn’t really processed before. Glad to have picked up this compilation at the Fetus this weekend.
