The Hiatus is off. . .Again. Big Trouble is back at White Squirrel this Saturday.

Big Trouble is an instrumental quartet featuring Me McPherson on bass, Steve McPherson on guitar (yes he’s my brother), Josh Peterson on guitar and Peter Leggett on drums. We are having a mild renaissance as a side project. We are practicing once a month. We are coming up with new ideas. We are doing an Elliott Smith song (they’re even letting me play the melody). We are doing a Feist song. I think the excitement comes from having a standing gig that really fits our vibe and also works for our fans (for this band our fans are really are friends, but I do truly think they like what the band is doing). Thanks to Laura from the White Squirrel for fixing us up with a standing monthly over at White Squirrel. I hope you can come down sometime between 6-8pm and take in the show this Saturday. It’s free. Kids are welcome until 8pm at the White Squirrel always. And don’t plan on easily getting you or your kids fed over at White Squirrel. The White Squirrel is a great drinking bar, but do your eating before or after. There is plenty of great food in the neighborhood!

A flyer my brother made largely with AI which looks great.
